How would you describe your photographic style?
I would describe my style is high fashion meets photo journalism. I know those are typically are two types of photography that most might not put together but my idea of a shooting is to put people in the best light and flattering positions and let them go. I have found that when I utilize this technique, it gives my clients the ability to let the real emotion of the moment shine through but still get the look they are going for.
Will you travel for our session?
Absolutely—locations outside of a 30 mile radius (one-way) from the 30012 zip code will have a mileage fee on any additional miles that is equal to the current IRS mileage rate for the year.
How many photographs can I expect to get from my session?
All of my sessions (excluding weddings and other events) include at least twenty-five (25) high resolution digital negatives and BDC’s Home Use License. Images are uploaded in an online gallery that will allow you to order prints, share with friends and family and download your images.
What exactly is a Home Use License?
A Home Use License details the guidelines and restrictions for using the images produced from your session. Essentially, it allows you to print your images anywhere you would like and upload them to social media sites. You may find a copy of BDC's Home Use License HERE.
What is your turnaround time for a typical session?
Weddings excluded, my typical turnaround time is 2-3 weeks. If for some reason it will be outside of that timeframe, I will always let you know.
Do you offer mini sessions?
From time to time I do offer seasonal mini sessions but I do not have a set time that I like to do them and they are usually themed and cost somewhere around $150.
What do I need to bring to my session?
I highly recommend bringing a blanket or quilt that you don’t mind lying on the ground. With the exception of newborns or mini sessions, I do not provide props but I do encourage them. The reason being, each family and couple are different; they have different personalities, styles and dynamics so I like to treat each session as a chance to communicate who my clients are instead of just make a “cute” picture. Rest assured after booking, we will have a conversation(s) about what you are looking for in and discuss wardrobe, style, location, any props you may have, etc.
Do you offer prints, albums or wall art?
I do! You can view BDC's print product catalog HERE.
