How would you describe your photographic style?
What kind of gear do you use?
Will you travel for our session?
Do you shoot destination weddings?
What is your turnaround time on edited images?
Do I have to order prints through you?
Will there be a second shooter?
Do you offer mini sessions?
What do I need to bring to my session?
I would describe my style is high fashion meets photo journalism. I know those are typically are two types of photography that most might not put together but my idea of a shooting is to put people in the best light and flattering positions and let them go. I have found that when I utilize this technique, it gives my clients the ability to let the real emotion of the moment shine through but still get the look they are going for.
I am a Nikon girl from way back.
I currently tandem shoot a Nikon D780 and D750 with a whole array of lenses. If I had to pick though, my favorite camera/lens combo is my D780 with my Sigma Art 135 2.0. So dreamy!
Absolutely—locations outside of a 30 mile radius (one-way) from the 30012 zip code will have a mileage fee on any additional miles that is equal to the current IRS mileage rate for the year.
Yes! I love destination weddings. As long as I can legally shoot in the country of your choice, I am happy to travel for your big day. Prices begin at your collection amount plus airfare and lodging.
My typical turnaround time for portrait sessions is 2-3 weeks and for weddings it is 8-10 weeks. If you need your images returned sooner, I do offer a rush service for an additional amount.
If for some reason it will be outside of that timeframe, I will always let you know.
No, not at all. As much as I would love everyone to print their gallery with my professional lab, I understand that not everyone wants to, and that's ok! That is why all of my collections include a Home Use License that gives you license to print the images at the photographic lab of your choice. I do however, give recommendations for print labs.
Yes, if you would like one. While they are not standard in some of my wedding collections, you may always add a second (or third) shooter if you would like.
From time to time I do offer seasonal mini sessions but I do not have a set time that I like to do them and they are usually themed and cost somewhere around $175.
For portrait sessions, I highly recommend bringing a blanket or quilt that you don’t mind lying on the ground. With the exception of newborns or mini sessions, I do not provide props but I do encourage them. The reason being, each family and couple are different; they have different personalities, styles and dynamics so I like to treat each session as a chance to communicate who my clients are instead of just make a “cute” picture. Rest assured after booking, we will have a conversation(s) about what you are looking for in and discuss wardrobe, style, location, any props you may have, etc.
